On January 28, a team from the WRH program visited Dr. Cole Mathis from Arizona State University at Prof. Harrison Brodsky Smith’s laboratory at Earth-Life Science Institute (ELSI), Science Tokyo!

With support from the WRH Program, Dr. Mathis has been collaborating with Prof. Smith on “Analyzing the evolution of planets, proteins, and biological life detection with assembly theory” since January 2024, and this is the 3rd stay at Science Tokyo under this program.

Though this will be the last visit to Science Tokyo under the WRH Program, we look forward to their continued development of their joint research.
