We are pleased to welcome Prof. Amalendu Chandra from Indian Institute of Technology Kampur, India, newly appointed as Specially Appointed Professor at Science Tokyo!

With support from the WRH Program, Prof. Chandra will stay at Tateyama-Ando Group, Laboratory for Chemistry and Life Science (CLS), Science Tokyo for one year from March 2025 to February 2026. He will collaborate with Prof. Yoshitaka Tateyama on joint research, as well as advise students and post-docs in the group.

We look forward to the fruitful outcomes of their joint research on “Molecular dynamics study on microscopic structure and dynamics in battery and catalyst materials”, and further promotion of collaboration between our university and the Indian Institutes of Technology.
