【WRH】WRH welcomes Junior Professor Chair Maria Méndez Real from Université Bretagne Sud in France
We are pleased to welcome Junior Professor Chair Maria Méndez Real from Université Bretagne Sud to Science Tokyo!
With support from the WRH Program, Dr. Méndez Real is visiting Associate Professor Yuko Hara at the School of Engineering.

About their project:
Drones are becoming increasingly prevalent in our daily lives. Initially used in the military, there are now drones designed to conduct deliveries, rescue operations, and even entertainment. But as the role of drones expands, so does the need for systems to protect them from potential intrusion. Combining Dr. Hara’s expertise in lightweight machine learning methods and Dr. Mendez Real’s experience in securing embedded systems, the researchers will collaborate on the WRH-supported project “Exploration and Development of Drone-oriented Lightweight and Intelligent Intrusion Detection System”.
