We are pleased to welcome Prof. Mark Harrison from UCLA, newly appointed as visiting professor at Science Tokyo!

With support from the WRH Program, Prof. Harrison is collaborating with Prof. John Hernlund of the Institute of Future Science, Earth-Life Science Institute (ELSI).

He recently delivered a series of four lectures organized by ELSI, covering topics including early Earth evolution, planetary habitability, and geochronologic methods.

We look forward to the fruitful outcomes of their joint research on the project “Geochemistry at the Origin of the Earth and Life”.
