Dr. Okamura, tenure physicist of Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL, USA), is responsible for the heavy ion linear accelerator of hadron accelerator complex as a group leader. He is an expert of intense heavy ion beam production and linear accelerators. He also works on polarized beam acceleration.

In Tokyo Tech, I peruse to establish high brightness ion beam acceleration using laser ion sources and radio frequency quadrupole linear accelerators.
