<Field of Specialization>

Dr Perrut, research engineer at Onera (France), is specialized in the study of phase diagrams for structural metallic alloys, namely for aerospace applications. It includes experimental and numerical work regarding phase stability (thermodynamics) and phase transformations (kinetics) of these alloys.

<Project and aims at Tokyo Tech WRHI>

I aim to study in Tokyo Tech WRHI precipitation kinetics in steels. The project is to build a numerical modelling of Laves phase precipitation in Nb or Hf-containing steels, and also to assess the thermodynamics of these innovative steels by diffusion couples or diffusion multiples methods.
