Computational modeling of human motor control and learning

<Aim>

I am interested in finding ways to enhance the acquisition of motor skills in humans based on the study and exploitation of the computational properties of the sensorimotor system that influence motor learning. I will focus on developing novel training paradigms for acquiring new patterns of muscle activation, and for improving the speed of learning in tasks involving arm reaching. This research will have applications in the field of neurorehabilitation.
