23rd LANE Colloquium “The energy- and mass-distributions of fission fragments of super-heavy nuclei and some actinides”

Events

We define the energy- and mass-distributions of fission fragments within the scission point model. We found that for the super-heavy nuclei with 114<Z<126 a transition from mass-symmetric to mass-asymmetric fission as the mass of fissioning isotope increases. We have also calculated the energy- and mass-distributions of fission fragments for two actinide nuclei U-236 and Cf-252 where the experimental information exists.
