Expectations for WRHI
Europe-Japan international collaborations were promoted by JSPS Core-to-Core Program (Japan-Germany-France-UK International Collaboration). I hope that WRHI will support this international collaborations and make the research links stronger. WRHI will be able to promote the international collaboration with US researchers. By these international collaborations, I would like to contribute to establish World Research Hub in TokyoTech.

Solvent migration dynamics in clusters
Solute-solvent interactions are fundamental for chemistry and biology as these interactions strongly affect solution dynamics. A clear-cut interpretation is difficult in solution due to surrounding but spectating molecules. Our international collaborations has been providing clear mechanism of solvent migration dynamics based on unique combination of picosecond time-resolved three color IR spectroscopy (Fujii), and electron-impact IR photodissociation spectroscopy (Dopfer). Solovation dynamics at molecular level will be established and will give impact on solution chemistry, biology and related research field.
