Research Projects
-
My team focuses on laser spectroscopy, photophysics, and photochemistry of organic molecules in the gas phase. We aim at describing at the molecular level the forces responsible for molecular recognition, in particular for chiral recognition. We also study the influence of stereochemistry on the spectroscopy and the photostability of life-related molecules. To this end, the group combines laser spectroscopy, supersonic expansions or ion traps with theoretical chemistry calculations and vibrational circular dichroism in solution and in the solid phase.
