WRHI lecture was held on August 1, 2019. Prof. Dinggang Shen was invited to Suzuki’s lab for a visit and giving a lecture.

Prof. Dinggang Shen is Jeffrey Houpt Distinguished Investigator, and a Professor in the Department of Radiology and BRIC at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is Fellow of IEEE, Fellow of The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE), and also Fellow of The International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR).

Recent progress of deep learning for medical images was presented. Students attending the lecture showed great interest and actively involved in discussion.
