<Field of Specialization>

Theoretical condensed matter physics: multiferroics, low-dimensional quantum systems, exotic electronic and magnetic states of matter, spin and charge transport phenomena, strongly correlated materials driven out of equilibrium.

<Aim>

I received my Ph.D. in condensed matter physics from the Ural Federal University in Russia. Then I worked as a postdoctorate researcher at the King’s College in London (UK), at SPINTEC in Grenoble (France), and at the National Institute for Materials Science in Tsukuba (Japan). My research interests are focused on theoretical studies of material properties and transport phenomena and cover a broad range of topics including first-principles calculations, realistic modeling approaches, and non-equilibrium field-theoretical methods. My studies aim at combining various numerical and analytical tools to understand the microscopic origin of electronic and magnetic properties in real materials.
