“Geometric and Electronic Structure of Flavin”
Professor Dr. Otto Dopfer (TU Berlin, WRHI TokyoTech )
25th September 2018 @ Rm#314, R1-Bldg 3F
Recent developments of laser spectrometer with electrospray source and 22-pole cryogenic ion trap was presented. Usually the linear ion trap (22-pole trap) is not possible to combine with a time-of-flight mass spectrometer. Here, professor Dopfer enables this combination by the unique ion optical alignments. Advantage of the spectrometer is well demonstrated by the spectroscopy of flavin and related molecules. Spectral shift is discussed in terms of substituent effect.
